Standard for General-Purpose Signaling Devices and Systems

This Standard outlines safety requirements for emergency and non-emergency signaling devices used in indoor and outdoor locations. Devices covered by these requirements include personal signaling devices carried by users, self-monitored devices, attendant-monitored devices, and residential water hazard entrance alarms to notify property owners of unauthorized entry to pool and hot tub areas.
