Prevention and Mitigation
A risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons exists when
EV Charging Stations utilize Service Equipment (EVSE) designed specifically to work with EV for safe charging. This equipment minimizes the risk of fire and electrical overload. It only supplies power when the EV is properly connected and the equipment "sees" that it is safe for charging.
